This tip is very useful if you have accidentally deleted an important SMS from any of your Nokia S60 mobile phone. The process will get back your deleted SMS message for you to read it again. Follow these steps to get job done.
- You need any explorer or file explorer program (Fexplorer works fine).
- Open Fexplorer select your device C: or D:, depending where messages are saved.
- Let us assume you selected C:, open the System folder and then Mail folder.
- In Mail folders you will see different folders like 0010001_s and certain files like 00100000. These files are actual messages, browse through each one of them until you find your requires SMS.
- Don’t open files from options>file>open as it will show format not supported instead choose options>file>hex/text viewer. By selecting the “Hex/ text viewer” you will be able to open and read the deleted SMS message.
These are simple steps to bring back your deleted SMS message from any Nokia S60 device.
