RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis finally revealed new Blackberry Operating System 6.0 (after Blackberry Bold 9650 and Peral 3G) at this years WES. Its been a while since Blackberry came with something new for their users. Now Blackberry has officially confirmed the new and updated OS 6.0 will be out later this year(between July and September).

Sometimes you get a ‘USB device not recognized’ error when you connect a new USB/ key board/ camera/ phone etc with you computer. The error may suggest that the ‘USB connected with this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it‘. Some online solution to this problem suggest to go in ‘Device Manager‘ and uninstall all the devices under USB controller and then restart the computer and reinstall the USB drivers, but this does not solve the problem. You may also see in Device Manager that the device shows up as an “Unknown Device”.

The reason that a USB/ Flash drive can not be partitioned in Windows is because of the fact that these drives are shown as removable media (external drives). So for usb drive partition, we have to first show it as internal or fixed media to Windows and then we can partition and use it as a regular hard drive.
