RIM’s first ever smartphone with sliding keyboard that has same shape, look and feel as Bold and touch screen capability and design of Storm has leaked more than one time now. The chances of new Blackberry Slider’s release this June (2010) are everywhere and that means RIM going head to head against Apple (they are releasing iPhone 4g in June as well). It will be interesting to see how Slider competes with iPhone 4g.
The latest leaked pictures of Slider show it running the new WebKit browser with its multiple tabs open. This will ensure that the browser is fast and standards-compliant. Pages will render on the browser as they are meant to on the internet at large.
RIM is either trying to spread the new Blackberry 9800′s pictures and features on internet or they are having tough time keeping it a secret. We have to see how their first experiment with sliding keyboard goes.
