Microsoft Office 14 – Leaked Screenshots Of Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview

Microsoft Office 2010 (referred as Office 14, the code name) is next version of Microsoft Office. A few people will get their hands on technical preview of Office 14 in July. You can signup for Microsoft Office 2010 technical preview and your request will be waitlisted for the technical preview. It will come in both 32-bit and 64 bit versions and it will be available for Windows XP, Vista and 7.



Just like several Windows 7 builds leaks, now there are many leaked screenshots of Office 2010. Here are some screenshots of Microsoft Office 2010 to give you a taste of real thing. There are many changes you will see in Office 2010 including application window contains glass in ribbon headers as well.

I think Microsoft is using same strategy as apple, using leaked images to create some buzz before the actual product hits the shelves. Windows 7 leaked screen shots and now Microsoft Office 2010 screenshots?

@Sohail, well I think most of the leading corps now copy each other in some way or other and in the end don’t agree to it, including Google, Microsoft, Yahoo !, and the list can go on. But the what is more important is to give the credit to the original person.

As far aesthetics, I think that the 2007 version is much more attractive. If the 2010 screenshots are any indication, this version will have a rather bland look. However, I suppose aesthetics can be sacrificed for performance.
