How To Master/Factory Reset Samsung Mobile Phone

Sometimes you want to reset memory of your phone and it can be headache if you do not follow the right procedure so here are some basic steps to reset memory of Samsung Memoir T929. This method will allow you to perform the master reset of the phone and will also give you option to make personal settings.

  • Start by pressing Menu available on Home screen.
  • Now press Settings > Reset Settings.
  • Here you will have many options and it is your choice to decide which option to use. Here are details of these options.
  • ALL: This option will make sound profile, display profile and phone settings to their default values.
    Sound Settings: This option will only reset Sound Settings to default settings.
    Display Settings: This option will reset the display settings to its default value.
    Phone Settings: And this option will cause to reset only phone settings to its default value.

  • Now press the Reset button.
  • Now you will need to enter the password. The default password is ‘0000’. Then press Confirm.
  • Then press the YES button to reset the phone’s settings to default factory values.

If you want to perform the Master Reset/ Factory Reset, , follow these steps.

  • Perform the first 2 steps as above.
  • Then go to Master Reset option.
  • Now enter the password (the default is ‘0000’).
  • Then press the Confirm button.
  • And now press the Yes button to reset the phone’s settings to default factory settings.
