Gmail allows users to insert images directly in Email body when you compose an email. This feature allows you to display images directly in your email body instead of attaching images in your email. This makes email better and easy to read and users do not have to download attachments after reading the mail.
Here are some steps that make sure you use this feature to send email with images displaying in the body of message.
- Go to Gmail and login to your account.
- Click the Lab icon that looks like
at the top right corner of the screen. - Scroll down the list to inserting images and select the Enable radio button.
- Scroll down to the page and click save changes button.
- Now click the Compose Mail button on the left side of screen and write an email as usual.
- When you reach the place where you want to insert image, Go to Rich Formatting Toolbar and select the insert image icon
. Here select an image to insert from your computer or a web page. - The image will appear in the message body of email, Here you can select the size of image to display or keep it in original size and you can also Remove the photo if you do not like it.

Continue writing you email and do the same if you want to insert any other images to the email and then send the mail when you are finished composing. The images will now display in the message body where you inserted them and will show up when the receiver will open the email.
