How To Clear Browsing History In Firefox
Sometimes you need to clear the history of browsed websites in Mozilla Firefox without disabling the history list altogether. Here is your easy tutorial on how to clear the search or browsing history in Firefox. Follow these steps.
- Select Tools > Clear Private Data (Ctrl+Shift+Del) from your Firefox menu.
- Clear Private Data box will appear, here make sure “Browsing History” is selected. You can select other items as you like and press “Clear Private Data Now”.

Remember: Now if the Clear Private Data box does not appear, that Firefox is configured to not prompt before clearing data. In such case, make sure the browsing history will be cleared when you click the clear private data menu item.
- Click Tools > Options
- Click Privacy in the dialogue box that appears.
- Underneath “Private Data” click “Clear Now” button.

Now after this you can use Steps 1 and 2 to easily clear the browsing history in Firefox.
