Blackberry Bold – Transfer Pictures and Videos to Windows Computer

This short tutorial will show you how to transfer your media (pictures and videos) from your Blackberry Bold to a Windows computer. We will setup Blackberry and Windows OS so that we can import or export media files easily between blackberry bold and our PC having Windows XP, Vista or Windows7.

Follow these instructions to get job done.

Go to Options in your Blackberry Bold
Now, select Memory
Now set Mass Storage Mode Support to On
Change Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to Prompt or Yes
Here are the settings so far

Connect your computer to your PC. All Windows versions (XP, Vista and 7) handle it in same way
The Windows OS will probably install several drivers. Wait until these installations are done.
Now, find your Blackberry device listed under the Computer section (or My Computer on XP)
Click on the Blackberry and navigate to the videos or pictures folders (Here is how it looks on XP)

iPhone 4 vs Blackberry Commercials

Apple and RIM have common theme in their recent TV commercials, both showing one reason to people to buy their products. Apple has released 4 iPhone 4 TV ads (5 if you add the first one that was introduced in keynote on iPhone 4 release) and all commercials are about Facetime.

RIM, on other hand, has recently released a few commercials and all of them are about Blackberry Messenger(BBM). This makes you think why Apple and RIM are not showing all great features their smart-phones come with. For instance, iPhone 4 can take HD videos and has the best display screen till date. But Facetime is only feature (which is one of the best things iPhone 4 has to offer) that is being advertised by Apple. Here is one of the commercial.

RIM knows that BBM is one of the best (if not best) IM clients of all time and they are getting the word out. They are showing people one reason to buy Blackberries. Here is one of the recent BBM commercial.

Moreover, iPhone 4 commercials show you how Facetime can dramatically improve what would normally be more traditional phone calls. You do not have to explain you haircut to anyone now, show them. Watch a new born baby through Facetime, do not just get a call about that.
RIM and Apple are both telling one reason to people (who are not tech savvy) to buy their product, and that one reason is something they both are proud of.

Next iPod Touch with 3.2 MP Camera

There were a few rumors about 5MP camera in upcoming (this fall hopefully) iPod touch but 9to5 Mac has some other news for iPod touch lovers. Apple will release the next generation iPod touch with a 3.2 mega-pixels camera, according to 9to5Mac resources.

The 3.2 megapixels camera will have same characteristics as iPhone 3GS camera. MacRumors has already showed that 5 MP camera does not fit in current iPod touch design, but Apple may come up with a new design like iPhone 4 so we have to wait and see how it gos.
For the moment, we can expect at least a 3.2 megapixels camera in next gen iPod touch.
