Facebook Access Blocked In School Or Office? Access Facebook Without Any Proxy

February 4, 2009 · 3 comments

Some companies have blocked access to Facebook in work places during office hours. These companies think that it can make employees less productive. Some schools and colleges have also blocked access to Facebook for students. A new service called MoDazzle makes it possible to use Facebook (and Linkedln) using simple commands through Email.

For example you can send an email to fbreadwall@modazzle.com with the subject SELF to read messages posted on your wall similarly change the subject to JOHN to read john’s wall messages. You can do most of things that you do on Facebook through several commands via Email including

  • Send message to friends
  • Read unread messages in your Inbox
  • Post to wall
  • View Friend’s status on Facebook
  • To poke a friend
  • Upload a profile photo
  • Send Invites
  • Read Walls of others
  • Check birthday updates

Modazzle.com also supports Linkedln and Google Maps. These services can be used in countries like UAE and Syria where Facebook is blocked.

Too bad they don’t accept any new subscriptions…

The MoDazzle service was discontinued on Friday, February 13, 2009. We are no longer accepting new sign-ups, and existing subscribers will stop receiving messages from MoDazzle after that date.

my school blocked any proxy related things, it automatically detects proxies, and i REALLY need to check my facebook and other emails sometimes because i moved to the big city and i have no way of communicating with my family or friends other than facebook for the time being because my phone is “out of service” in school and the workplace!…i need a site that doesnt use proxies and can bypass these blocked sites!
